Vel Terra Ranch (VTR) has nicely terraced back-in sites for RVs but caters mostly to tent and pop-up campers. Our sites are spacious, shaded or sunny and can accommodate the single tent camper, a family or a larger group. The camping area has close access to a small children's playground and horseshoe pits, all surrounded by a lovely wooded setting. Numerous outdoor type games are available for use in Cowboy Corner (above), our registration area. Our hilly terrain and rugged timber provide great hiking for the hardier camper. But the best amenities are the sound of the abundant wildlife, the beauty of the starlit sky and the relaxation provided by the crackling campfire...a simple, peaceful getaway for you and your friends. We'll lite your fire -- the first bundle of firewood per night is free.
