Vel Terra Ranch (VTR) has nicely terraced tent and RV sites. All RV sites are back-in. Our sites are shaded or sunny and can accommodate the single tent camper, a family or a larger group. Each site offers a feeling of openness. The camping area has close access to a small children's playground and horseshoe pits, all surrounded by a lovely wooded setting. Available for your use are numerous outdoor type games located in Cowboy Corner , our registration area (above). Our hilly terrain and rugged timber provides rigorous hiking, but to just take an easy walk, our Bridle Path provides a good workout with lovely scenery. But the best amenities are the sounds of the abundant wildlife, the beauty of the starlit sky and the relaxation provided by chirping of the birds during the day or a crackling campfire at night....a simple, peaceful getaway for you and your friends. We'll lite your fire -- our firewood is free.

Family owned and operated, Vel Terra Ranch has returned to basics and evolved into a campground where family and friends can share time away with each other. Explore what nature has to offer in the outdoors and experience our easy going environment. Clean and modern bathrooms and coin operated showers are available for our campers. Cowboy Corner has an assortment of snacks for sale, plus inside and outside games, movies, but most of all, friendly people wanting to make your camping weekend their priority.
